Product Description

Product Overview

The Bitmain Antminer Z15 Pro 840K is a high-performance Equihash ASIC miner designed for mining coins such as Zcash (ZEC) and Horizen (ZEN). With a typical hashrate of 840 KSol/s and a power draw of around 2780W, it delivers serious hashing power in a compact, industrial-grade chassis suitable for dedicated mining rooms, garages or professional mining facilities.

Engineered by Bitmain, the Z15 Pro builds on the legacy of the Z-series miners with improved performance, efficiency and reliability for 24/7 operation under the right electrical and cooling conditions.

Key Features

  • 840 KSol/s Equihash hashrate
Optimised specifically for the Equihash algorithm used by Zcash, Horizen and other compatible coins, giving you focused performance on this algorithm family.

  • Approx. 2780W power consumption
Typical power on the wall is 2780W @ 25°C, providing a strong hashrate-to-power ratio when matched with the right electricity price and cooling setup.

  • Efficient cooling and 24/7 design
Dual high-speed fans and a robust airflow design help move heat away from the hash boards, supporting continuous operation in well-ventilated environments.

  • Industrial-grade build
Designed for rack and farm environments with a sturdy metal chassis, integrated PSU and standard RJ45 Ethernet 10/100M network connectivity.

Power, Cooling & Installation Notes

The Antminer Z15 Pro is a high-power device and should be treated like a small industrial appliance:

  • Use a dedicated 220–240V circuit with correctly rated breakers.

  • Ensure all cabling, plugs and distribution boards are rated for at least the continuous load of ~2.8kW.

  • Place the miner in a well-ventilated area (mining room, garage or dedicated facility) with good airflow and heat extraction.

  • At approximately 75 dBA, it is too loud for living areas and should be isolated from bedrooms and offices wherever possible.

For new installations, it is advisable to work with a qualified electrician to ensure that wiring, breakers and plugs are correctly specified and compliant with local regulations.

Ideal Use Cases

  • Miners building or expanding Equihash-focused operations.

  • Users diversifying from SHA-256 or Scrypt into Zcash / Horizen with an ASIC-class device.

  • Dedicated mining rooms or farms with sufficient electrical capacity and active cooling.

Whether you are adding to an existing farm or setting up a focused Equihash rig, the Z15 Pro offers a strong balance of hashrate, power draw and physical robustness when installed correctly.
